Greek Links of Interest

Whether you graduated several decades ago or several days ago, there are a variety of websites that Greek alumni can use to keep up on the latest happenings in the fraternity and sorority community.  Additionally, there are several organizations that can help Greek alumni get reinvolved with their brothers and sisters, help collegians, and further the goals of Greek life.

Here are a list of resources and organizations that may be of interest to Greek alumni, including umbrella organizations and professional groups:

National Panhellenic Conference is the umbrella organization representing twenty-six national and international sororities and women's fraternities.  Founded in 1902, the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) continues to further the purpose of Greek life and serve as an advocate for the interests of Greek women.

North-American Interfraternity Conference represents seventy-five national and international men's Greek letter organizations.  The trade organization, founded in 1909, is committed to furthering the interests of Greek members and the fraternal experience as a whole.

National Pan-Hellenic Council was founded in 1930 and now represents the Divine 9, or the nine historically African-American fraternities and sororities.  The National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) serves to "promote interaction through forums, meetings and other mediums for the exchange of information and engages in cooperative programming and initiatives through various activities and functions."

Association of Fraternal Leadership and Values is the result of several mergers of regional groups representing campus Greek communities.  Since its official launch in July 2009, the Association of Fraternal Leadership and Values (AFLV) has had the mission of challenging and encouraging fraternity and sorority members to live ethical lives and uphold best practices in all situations.

SureSister serves to promote the education of potential new members going through sorority recruitment by providing resources regarding the sorority recruitment process and tips for success.  SureSister helps to reach out to campus Greek organizations, sorority members, and potential new members via various social media and the book Rush Right, written by founder Sunday Tollefson.

Phired Up Productions is a firm dedicated to training fraternity and sorority chapters on how to increase the recruitment of quality members for their chapters.  Honored by numerous organizations in higher education, Phired Up Productions is regarded as the Greek recruitment experts.

The Fraternity Advisor is a blog that answers questions and provides resources and ideas for improving collegiate fraternities and member engagement.  Topics covered include fundraising, fraternity recruitment, alumni engagement, and interaction with national and international headquarters.

Greek Decisions helps to promote responsible risk management policies within fraternity and sorority chapters.  Greek Decisions also provides up to date decisions regarding legal cases within the Greek community.

RISE Partnerships helps to increase member engagement and participation at every stage of fraternity and sorority membership, from new members to alumni.  RISE also helps to develop leadership skills and equip chapters with the resources to be healthy and thriving.

Greek Intervarsity is a national organization that helps fraternity and sorority members engage in Christian fellowship and growth.  Greek Intervarsity has chapters on numerous college campuses throughout the United States and represents thousands of Greek undergraduate students.

NPC Sorority Badges is a picture-based blog that chronicles the evolution of sorority badges since the founding of all NPC member organizations.
